Post Ride:
-Remove your AMP cell from the cartridge. Wipe down your with a damp cloth with soapy water.
DO NOT spray water directly on the battery to clean.
Regular Maintenance:
- Every 30 - 50 sessions clean the AMP Cell terminals and connections with contact cleaner and a clean rag or cotton tip.
- Every 30-50 sessions re-apply the supplied di-electric grease to the amp cell terminals
- Connect the AMP cell to the FLITELab* app and check for software update.
- Perform a Visual inspection of the AMP cell ensuring there is no damage cracks or build of debris and sand.
Storage:
1. Keep AMPCell stored out of the reach of children and pets.
2. DO NOT store the AMPcell near heat sources such as a furnace or heater.
3. DO NOT leave the AMPcell inside of a vehicle on hot days.
4. Ideal AMPcell storage temperature between 10°C (50°F) and 25°C (77°F) in a safe, dry place.
5. Do NOT store the AMPcell whilst charging. Disconnect the charger when not in use.
6. DO NOT store the AMPcell fully charged or discharged for a longer period of time.
7. For long or short term storage of AMPcell, a charge state of 40% (1 LED ON indicates 25 - 35% charge) is optimal. Only fully charge the AMPcell when planning a ride. We recommend that you discharge the AMPcell during your final session of the season, remembering to keep it around 40% charge before it goes into storage. This may involve charging after last use.
